Kybella is the only minimally invasive treatment available today to treat a double chin. Surgical procedures to treat double chins tend to be painful and require several weeks of recovery. Does it hurt?

There may be some minor discomfort during the injection procedure. Some patients experience temporary swelling, bruising, or redness at the injection site. In very rare cases, temporary damage to a nerve in the area may occur, which can cause an uneven smile or difficulty in swallowing for a few weeks to months.
